As a Black, fat, queer, cis woman, Sirius lives at the intersections of many identities. Her commitments to Black liberation, gender justice, and fat liberation are rooted in lived experience and decades of movement work. These lineages shape both her consulting and her creative practice.

She is the creator of Freedom & Desire, a journal of essays and cultural criticism exploring power, care, and imagination in collapsing times, and the founder of Hourglass Sessions, a coaching and strategy practice that uses divination and intuition as tools for reflection and alignment. Sirius also co-hosts The Body Trust® Podcast and collaborates with the Center for Body Trust to advance body liberation and culture change.

Her career includes leadership across healthcare, higher education, and philanthropy. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of INTERSECT, a nonprofit advancing intersectional gender justice in Oregon, following senior equity and inclusion roles at Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette, Clark College, and Portland State University. Sirius earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Reed College and serves on the board of North by Northeast Community Health Clinic.
